A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1584.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a chain transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a D402F MT90B16 72H front tire and a D401 200/55R17 78V rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 292mm disc, 1-piston caliper in the front and a single 292mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Springer fork while the rear was equipped with saddle shocks. The Cross Bones was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 64.49 inches (1638 mm) long.

The 2008 MY Harley Davidson FLSTSB Softail Cross Bones comes standard with a straight shot exhaust with chrome slash-cut mufflers, an adjustable sprung solo seat with leather lacing, a chopped front fender with striping, a bobtail rear fender with striping, a 200mm rear tire, laced-steel, front and rear wheels with Gloss Black painted rims, half-round old-school foot boards, a horseshoe oil tank and a black, powder-coat finish on the engine.

At its heart lies an air-cooled, 1584cc, Twin Cam 96B V-twin powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a Cruise Drive system, and can reach a peak torque of 120 Nm at 2750 rpm.
