The Honda CB 250 Hornet was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Honda in 1996. Max torque was 17.7 ft/lbs (24.0 Nm) @ 11000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 39.96 HP (29.8 KW) @ 14000 RPM.

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder. The engine featured a 11.5:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/70-16 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 296mm disc 2 piston caliper in the front and a Single 220mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 40mm telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock preload adjustable.. The CB250 Hornet was fitted with a 16 Liters / 4.2 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 151 kg / 355 lbs.

The 1996 MY Honda CB 250 Hornet has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 249cc, transverse four cylinder engine that was paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive and can produce a claimed 40 horsepower and 24 Nm of torque.

Also, this entry-level naked machine has been fitted with die-cast aluminum wheels, a chromed exhaust system, a dual seat with passenger grab handles, wide handlebars, analogue instrumentation dials, a blacked-out, steel frame, a 40mm telescopic front fork coupled to an adjustable monoshock in the rear and front and rear disc brakes.
