The Honda CMX250 Rebel was a twin, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Honda between 1981 and 2005. It could reach a top speed of 66 mph (106 km/h). Max torque was 12.76 ft/lbs (17.3 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 17.03 HP (12.7 KW) @ 8250 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 53.0mm bore x 53.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 234.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis

It came with a 90/90-18 front tire and a 130/90-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. 2-piston calipers in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a 33mm fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks with five-position spring-preload adjustability. The CMX250 Rebel was fitted with a 2.6 Gallon (9.84 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 306.44 pounds (139.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.09 inches (1450 mm) long.

1982 Honda CM250C Custom


The Honda Custom CM250C'82 was sold in 1982. Two color options were available: Candy Muse Red with Candy Antares Red and Cosmo Black Metallic with Gray Metallic. The tank and side covers are two-toned. The "CM250 CUSTOM" side cover decal was gold. The engine color was silver. This year the bike used a chain drive (next year it used a belt drive). The engine was a parallel twin OHC displacing 234cc and the transmission was a 5-speed. The serial number began JH2MC0600CM000066.

1983

The CM250'83 Custom was sold in 1983 and was available only in black. The gas tank and side cover stripers were chrome and red. The "250 CUSTOM" side cover decal was red and gold. The Engine was black with a silver cylinder head and case covers.
