A 71.1mm bore x 71.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1520.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed, manual, wide ratio transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 150/80R - 17 front tire and a 180/70R - 16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 296mm floating discs with twin piston calipers in the front and a Single 316mm disc with twin piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 45mm inverted fork, 130mm travel while the rear was equipped with a Dual shocks with 5 way spring preload adjustment 120mm travel. The wheelbase was 66.5 inches (1689 mm) long.

The 2000 Honda GL1500CD Valkyrie Deluxe is a base Valkyrie in a more luxurious trim, with the hollow-cast highly polished wheels being one of the the most impetuous additions to this already smoking hot cruiser.
This model year came in Pearl Dark Blue/Pearl White stripe and Black/Metallic Silver stripe color schemes, both matching the carefully designed chrome accents. With a revised camshaft timing and open-flow exhausts, the 2000 Valkyrie Deluxe is not only turning heads, but also has nerve to match its glorious looks.
