The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi disk.
Chassis
It came with a 100/90 -16 front tire and a 110/90-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double disc 256 mm in the front and a Single disc 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Air assisted forks while the rear was equipped with a Pro-link adjustable preload. The NS 400R was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. In 1985 Honda release the NS 400R, a bike claimed to be a road-going replica of Freddie Spencer, the yougest 500cc World Champion in 1983. The Honda NS 400R is a liquid-colled, three cylinder, two-stroke of an unusual configuration a V3. The NS 400R is the lightest and quickest bike ij its`s class. It is fast, nimble and responsive.
