Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 89.5mm bore x 104.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1312.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-plate coil spring.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-r21 front tire and a 200/50-r18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. twin-piston caliper in the front and a single disc. abs. in the rear. The front suspension was a 45mm telescopic fork with 130mm stroke and 102.4mm axle travel while the rear was equipped with a monoshock with adjustable rebound damping and 35-position spring preload adjustability, 95mm axle travel. The VT1300CX was fitted with a 3.38 Gallon (12.80 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 681.23 pounds (309.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 71.06 inches (1805 mm) long.
