The Honda XR250 is a motorcycle produced by Honda from 1979 to 1980.
Intro
After 1980 Honda began appended an "R" to the designation calling it the XR250R
1979
The XR250'79 was sold in 1979 in Tahitian Red. The "HONDA" tank decal was red. The top of the tank, side cover panel, and headlight cowl were black. The "XR250" side cover logo was red and white. The front wheel was 23" and the rear wheel was 18". The engine was a 249cc OHC 4-valve single cylinder with 2 head pipes. The transmission was a 5-speed. The serial number began ME01-5000032.
1980
The XR250'80 was sold in 1980 in Tahitian Red. The gas tank now had a wing decal. The control levers and kickstarter arm were black. The front wheel was 23" and the rear wheel was 18". The engine was a 249cc OHC 4-valve single cylinder with 2 head pipes. The transmission was a 5-speed. The serial number began ME01-5100011.

The Honda XR250 Tornado was a in-line four, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Honda between 2001 and 2008. It could reach a top speed of 87 mph (140 km/h). Max torque was 17.48 ft/lbs (23.7 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 22.8 HP (17.0 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 250.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 120/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The XR250 Tornado was fitted with a 2.91 Gallon (11.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 295.42 pounds (134.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.12 inches (1400 mm) long.
2004 Honda XR250R
The 2003 XR250R is a quarter-liter off-road bike derived from the acclaimed CRF motocross machines, and equipped with enduro-specced components, ready to tackle the rough terrain and beings an excellent lightweight exploration motorcycle.
Dependable and adjustable suspensions and a generous ground clearance offer it excellent terrainability, while its small weight also makes its handling easy for enhanced confidence on tough trails.
