The Husqvarna 701 VITPILEN was a Single cylinder, four stroke, SOHC, liquid cooled Naked motorcycle produced by Husqvarna in 2018. Max torque was 52.37 ft/lbs (71.0 Nm) @ 6750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 74.96 HP (55.9 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine

A 104.1mm bore x 104.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 692.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the APTC slipper clutch, hydraulically operated.

Chassis

It came with a 129/70 R17 front tire and a 160/60 R17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 320 mm in the front and a Single disc 240 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm WP USD forks while the rear was equipped with a WP monoshock. The wheelbase was 56.5 inches (1435 mm) long.

Husqvarna`s Vitpilen 701, first revealed as a concept two years ago, has been unveiled in Milan as a 2018 production model. The stripped down naked roadster, pictured above, was shown at the Eicma motorcycle show along with a new concept the Svartpilen 701, a more scrambler-esque take on the same theme.
