The Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 was a single cylinder, four-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 2017 and 2019. Max torque was 53.11 ft/lbs (72.0 Nm) @ 6750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 72.15 HP (53.8 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 105.0mm bore x 80.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 692.7 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 12.8:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the clutch aptc(tm) slipper clutch, hydraulically actuated.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/80-r17 front tire and a 160/60-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. brembo four piston abs in the front and a single disc. single-piston caliper. in the rear. The front suspension was a wp upside-down ø 43 mm while the rear was equiped with a wp-monoshock with linkage. The Svartpilen 701 was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 349.43 pounds (158.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.54 inches (1436 mm) long.
