The Indian ME100 was a single cylinder, two-stroke enduro / offroad motorcycle produced in 1974. It could reach a top speed of 55 mph (88 km/h). Max torque was 0.74 ft/lbs (1.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 7.78 HP (5.8 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 53.0mm bore x 44.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 97.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 7.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a port control.

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the standard.

Chassis

Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic while the rear was equiped with a hydraulic. The ME100 was fitted with a 1.6 Gallon (6.05 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 175.05 pounds (79.4 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.
