The Jawa 90 was a single cylinder, two-stroke enduro / offroad motorcycle produced between 1969 and 1971. It could reach a top speed of 59 mph (95 km/h). Max torque was 4.72 ft/lbs (6.4 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 9.25 HP (6.9 KW) @ 6500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 48.0mm bore x 49.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 89.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 8.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.50-18 front tire and a 2.75-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The 90 was fitted with a 2.77 Gallon (10.50 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 44.49 inches (1130 mm) long.
