The KTM 640 LC4 SuperMoto was a Single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid cooled Enduro motorcycle produced by KTM in 1999. Max torque was 31.72 ft/lbs (43.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 54.04 HP (40.3 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

A 101.6mm bore x 101.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 625.0 cubic centimeters.

DriveEdit

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multidisc clutch, operated hydraulically.

ChassisEdit

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 160/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 320 mm in the front and a Single disc 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a WP-USD 48 mm while the rear was equipped with a WP-PDS suspension strut with hydraulic spring preload. The wheelbase was 59.41 inches (1509 mm) long.

KTM comes in 1999 with the new motorcycle 640 LC4 Supermoto. This KTM 640 has a liquid-cooled, SOHC, single cylinder. This engine is extreme reliable and powerful for this class. Providing it’s not still sitting on the dreadful Pirelli MT60 tires it comes with the KTM 640 LC4 Supermoto handles sharply. The fully-adjustable WP suspension and four-piston Brembo brakes mean confident stopping is just a two-finger tug away.
