The KTM 990 Adventure was a twin, four-stroke super motard motorcycle produced between 2006 and 2013. Max torque was 73.76 ft/lbs (100.0 Nm) @ 6750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 110.9 HP (82.7 KW) @ 4000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 101.0mm bore x 62.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc clutch / hydraulically operated.

Chassis

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 150/70-r18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. twin-disc brake with floating brake calipers and brake discs. abs. in the front and a single disc. floating brake caliper and brake disc in the rear. The front suspension was a wp suspension up side down 4860 mxma pa while the rear was equiped with a wp suspension pds 5018 dcc pa. The 990 Adventure was fitted with a 5.15 Gallon (19.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 461.87 pounds (209.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 61.81 inches (1570 mm) long.
