The KTM 690 Duke was a single cylinder, four-stroke naked bike motorcycle produced between 2008 and 2019. Max torque was 54.58 ft/lbs (74.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 71.48 HP (53.3 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 105.0mm bore x 80.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 690.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.8:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the aptc slipper clutch, hydraulically actuated.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 160/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. abs. brembo. floating disc. four-piston calipers. radially mounted. in the front and a single disc. abs. brembo. floating disc. single-piston caliper. in the rear. The front suspension was a wp upside-down ø 43 mm while the rear was equiped with a wp shock absorber with pro-lever linkage. The 690 Duke was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 327.39 pounds (148.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.72 inches (1466 mm) long.
