The KTM 690 Supermoto Limited Edition was a single cylinder, four-stroke super motard motorcycle produced between 2003 and 2011. Max torque was 47.94 ft/lbs (65.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 61.42 HP (45.8 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 102.0mm bore x 80.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 654.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.8:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the aptc slipper clutch, hydraulically operated.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 160/60-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. abs in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a wp usd 48 mm (1.89 in) while the rear was equiped with a wp mono shock with pro lever linkage. The 690 Supermoto Limited Edition was fitted with a 3.57 Gallon (13.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 339.51 pounds (154.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.95 inches (1472 mm) long.
