The Kawasaki KLX300R was a single cylinder, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 1996 and 2008. Max torque was 20.65 ft/lbs (28.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 32.32 HP (24.1 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 78.0mm bore x 61.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 292.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 80/70-x21 front tire and a 100/90-x18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm inverted cartridge fork with 20-way compression damping / 11.2 in. while the rear was equipped with a uni-trak® single shock system with 20-way compression damping and 18-way rebound damping / 11.0 in..
