A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1043.0 cubic centimeters.

DriveEdit

The bike has a 6-speed, positive neutral finder transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

ChassisEdit

It came with a 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) front tire and a 190/50ZR17M/C (73W) rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual semi-floating 300 mm petal discs in the front and a single 250 mm petal disc in the rear. The front suspension was a front 41 mm inverted fork with stepless compression and rebound damping and spring preload adjustability while the rear was equipped with a horizontal back-link, gas-charged, with stepless rebound damping and spring preload adjustability. The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.

2014 Kawasaki Z1000 ABS SEEdit

         

The 2014 MY Kawasaki Z100 ABS SE has a new and unique "Sugomi" style facelift which makes it look more aggressive. Also, a new analog+digital instrument cluster offers a lot of information regarding the bike's settings and eventual problems.

A new subframe design which is more compact and short to accommodate the new aggressive overall look of the bike.

On the tech/engine side, it shares the same specs with the 2014 MY Kawasaki Z1000 ABS.
