The Kawasaki Z800 was a in-line four, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2013 and 2017. Max torque was 61.22 ft/lbs (83.0 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 110.63 HP (82.5 KW) @ 10200 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 71.0mm bore x 50.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 806.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. floating discs. in the front and a single disc. single-piston caliper. in the rear. The front suspension was a 41 mm inverted fork with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability while the rear was equipped with a bottom-link uni-trak, gas-charged shock with piggyback reservoir and stepless rebound damping and preload adjustability. The Z800 was fitted with a 4.49 Gallon (17.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 56.89 inches (1445 mm) long.

The 2012 Kawasaki Z800 e is the European version of the already famous Z800. While retaining all the nifty features of the fully-powered bike, the European version can be ordered in a 30kW (47.59 PS) version for total compliance with the A2 license regulation.

The Z800 e comes with the same sporty attitude and aggressive styling, but is now more easily tamed by new riders. The Z800 e is a fully-featured naked beast which will offer countless hours of high-paced fun across the town or on countryside roads and even at highway speed.

With no compromise over performance, the 2012 Z800 e comes with optional ABS and sports all the new-generation technologies such as updated frame, new instrument cluster and natural, comfortable riding position.

The Kawasaki Z800 was introduced in 2012 as a replacement for the Z750 series coming to its end. This naked bike comes as an opponent to the Yamaha FZ8 and has been designed with multiple uses in mind.

The 806cc engine delivers a max of 113 PS and the frame has been redesigned, the Z800 now running with a tubular backbone chassis with engine sub-frame. Z800 can be used for daily commuting and for touring as well, since it comes with a comfortable riding position allowing long journeys.

The 6-speed manual gearbox and chain drive are complemented by a wet multi-plate clutch. 310mm front brake rotors and 250mm rear brake can be optionally fitted with ABS. The 2012 bike has an aggressively styled redesigned fairing with new instrument cluster, now sporting an Economical Riding Indicator for better fuel efficiency.
