The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 140/55-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs, 2 piston caliper in the front and a Single disc, single piston caliper in the rear. The ZR 250 Balius was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank.

In 1991 Kawasaki commenced selling the ZR 250 Balius model. The model displayed simple lines, an efficient frame and comfortable riding positions. The model was aimed at the segment of buyers that wanted a simple and efficient motorcycle.
