Stopping was achieved via Intelligent Braking (KIBS), Brembo dual semi-floating 330mm discs with dual radial mounted monobloc 4-piston calipers in the front and a KIBS-controlled, single 220mm disc with aluminum single-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm inverted Balance Free Fork, adjustable stepless rebound and compression damping, spring preload adjustability. while the rear was equipped with a Horizontal back-link with Balance Free gas-charged shock, stepless, dual-range (low-/high-speed) compression damping, stepless rebound damping, fully adjustable spring preload. The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.
2017 Kawasaki ZX-10RR
The 2017 Ninja ZX-10RR brings a new look to the Kawasaki liter-engines, with a redesigned fairing and an edgy approach to racing fairings. A revised RAM Air intake duct reduces noise and sports straighter channels for better flow. The 998 engine has received new modified cylinder head, Diamond-like Carbon coated tappets, and stronger reinforced, highly rigid crankcase. The die-cast aluminium sub-grame keeps the weight down and the bike's profile on the slim side, for better aerodynamics.
