The engine was a air cooled air-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC. A 58.4mm bore x 58.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 149.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.
