The Laverda 1000 Jota-120 was a in-line three, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 1980 and 1983. It could reach a top speed of 131 mph (211 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 84.22 HP (62.8 KW) @ 7900 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled in-line three, four-stroke. A 75.0mm bore x 74.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 980.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis

It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 120/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The 1000 Jota-120 was fitted with a 5.42 Gallon (20.50 Liters) fuel tank.
