The Moto Guzzi 850 T 5 was a v2, four-stroke speedway motorcycle produced between 1974 and 1988. It could reach a top speed of 124 mph (199 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 65.58 HP (48.9 KW) @ 6900 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 83.0mm bore x 78.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 844.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan). Power was moderated via the dry type, twin plates.

Chassis

It came with a 110/90-16 front tire and a 130/90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork, hydraulic dampers while the rear was equiped with a swinging fork. The 850 T 5 was fitted with a 5.81 Gallon (22.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 518.09 pounds (235.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 0.04 inches (1 mm) long.
