The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 107.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1187.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 12.2:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the multiple-plate clutch in oil bath with antiskipping system and radial master-cylinder.

It came with a 110/80-r19 front tire and a 150/70-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. brembo, 2-piston caliper in the front and a single disc. brembo in the rear.
