The Piaggio Typhoon 50 was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter motorcycle produced between 2005 and 2016. Max torque was 2.8 ft/lbs (3.8 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 4.43 HP (3.3 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 39.0mm bore x 41.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.3:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive

The bike has a automatic transmission. The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the automatic centrifuge type.

Chassis
