The Suzuki Impulse 400 was a in-line four, four-stroke standard produced by Suzuki between 2008 and 2011. Max torque was 27.29 ft/lbs (37.0 Nm) @ 9500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 51.23 HP (38.2 KW) @ 11000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 52.0mm bore x 47.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 398.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-plate coil spring.

Chassis

It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 140/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The Impulse 400 was fitted with a 4.23 Gallon (16.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 390.22 pounds (177.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.5 inches (1435 mm) long.
