Engineered to offer reliable transportation across unwelcoming terrain, the 2008 Suzuki KingQuad 400 FS can also double as a fun machine as it would gladly carry rider and camping gear far from the main roads for a weekend adventure. This ATV sports an easy-to-use semi-automatic transmission, with a fully automated clutch ensuring smooth and efficient shifting and a manual gearbox providing the necessary gearing for the changing terrain.

With selectable 2WD/4WD and a torque-sensing front differential, the 2008 Suzuki KingQuad 400 FS will tread lightly on difficult terrain, and thanks to its special-design throttle pulley, the riders can stay aboard for a whole day, with less thumb fatigue. A watertight underseat storage complements the high-capacity racks and can keep your documents and delicate personal objects when the rain comes in or mud is in the way.

2009 brings new black wheels for the Suzuki KingQuad 400 FS and new luggage racks, now with wrinkle finish for a more enduring usage. The punchy engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, but with an automatic clutch: this means the riders get to choose the gear they see fit for a particular section of terrain, but the shifting is smooth and quick, minimizing power loss and adding to the overall quality of the ride.

The frame is winch-ready so upgrading for tougher jobs in the wild is easy, and switching between high and low ratios is as easy and intuitive as it gets. Add in the low-maintenance shaft final drive and torque-sensing front differential and there you go, a hard working machine which would also gladly carry your gear for a camping weekend.
