The Suzuki PE 250 was a Two stroke, single cylinder, piston and reed valve Enduro motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1977. Max torque was 19.92 ft/lbs (27.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 28.03 HP (20.9 KW) @ 8000 RPM.
Engine
A 66.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 246.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.
Chassis
It came with a 3.00-21 4PR front tire and a 4.50-18 4PR rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a  Telescopic phneumatic/coil spring, oil dampened while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm. gas/oil dampened spring, 3-way adjustable. The PE 250 was fitted with a 0.79 Gallon (3.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 57.28 inches (1455 mm) long.

The heart of the PE was a 250cc two-stroke motor with heavy flywheels and reed-valve induction. The engine made only 28 hp (20.8 Kw) at 8,000 rpm but pulled like a freight train. Even regular PE riders were often amazed at how the PE could slog up the steepest climb, or through the most glutinous bog, with the reed petals clattering merrily away and the heavy flywheels keeping the motor turning.
