The Suzuki RF 900RS2 was a Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1995. Max torque was 73.76 ft/lbs (100.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 135.04 HP (100.7 KW) @ 10000 RPM.

A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 937.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 170/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 310 mm in the front and a Single disc 245 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks, adjustable preload while the rear was equipped with a Single shock, 4-way rebound and 7-way preload adjustable.

The 1995 Suzuki RF9 was designed to fill the gap between Suzuki's all out fang machine, the GSXR-750 and the long in the tooth GSXR 1100. It fulfils this role quite well and is a far superior package to the GSXR-11.
