The Suzuki RGV 250 GAMMA was a Water-cooled, 2-stroke, V-twin, liquid cooleld Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1987. Max torque was 27.29 ft/lbs (37.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 45.06 HP (33.6 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis

It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 140/60-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Twin 300 Mm Disc, 4-piston Calieprs in the front and a Single 210 Mm Disc, 2-piston Calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic, Coil Spring, Oil Damped, Spring 5-way Adjustable while the rear was equipped with a Full-floating Suspension, Gas/coil Spring. The wheelbase was 54.09 inches (1374 mm) long.

The chassis of the RGV 250 is very light, smooth and also very stable. The weight of the bike is very low, only 128 kg (282 lbs) for the first version. The engine is a 90 degree aluminum V-twin (later 70 degree) water-cooled 2-stroke delivering 68-67 hp at very high rpm's (the stock bike power output vary between countries, from 40 (29.8 Kw) to 67 hp (50 Kw).
