Chassis
It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 310 mm in the front and a Single disc220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a 46 mm Telescopic fork, cartridge-type, adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping while the rear was equipped with a Link-type, 7-way preload, compression and rebound damping adjustable. 2006 Suzuki SV 1000SZ SPECIAL EDITION
In 2005 Suzuki has launched a special edition of the SV1000 V-twin to celebrate the 20th year of the iconic GSX-R series of sports bikes. The SV 1000SZ comes with a full fairing as standard, painted to mimic the paintjobs of its more sporty cousins. It also has a higher compression ratio to give it 5 hp over the standard SV's. And the frame and wheels are black, rather than the standard silver.
