Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 97.6mm bore x 80.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1200.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet, multi-plate assist clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90-b16 front tire and a 150/80-r16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. abs. brembo 2-piston floating caliper in the front and a single disc. abs. nissin 2-piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a kyb 41 mm forks with cartridge damping while the rear was equiped with a kyb monoshock with linkage and stepped preload adjuster. The Bonneville Speedmaster was fitted with a 3.2 Gallon (12.11 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 541.23 pounds (245.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.45 inches (1510 mm) long.
