The Daytona 650 is the upgraded version of the older 600cc Daytona, as is one of the steps which led to the acclaimed 675 model. Though the Daytona 650 was not maintained in production too long, it provided a good basis for the evolution of the model and the development of the modern Daytona family.

The Triumph Daytona 650 had a classic in-line 4 engine, with a remote gear linkage, a black aluminum exhaust and boasts the  race-bred character transposed for street usage.
