The '''[[Triumph]] THRUXTON 1200''' was a Four stroke, parallel twin, SOHC, [[liquid cooled]] Adventure [[motorcycle]] produced by [[Triumph]] in 2016. Max [[torque]] was 83.35 ft/lbs (113.0 Nm) @ 4950 RPM. Claimed [[horsepower]] was 96.02 HP (71.6 KW) @ 6750 RPM.

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi plate.

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front [[tire]] and a 160/60 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 310 mm in the front and a Single disc 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a  Kayaba 41 mm cartridge forks while the rear was equipped with a Kayaba twin shocks. The wheelbase was 55.71 inches (1415 mm) long.

The new incarnation certainly has big shoes to fill considering the fame and glory associated with the Thruxton name from back in the ’60s and ’70s, a fact not lost on the designers.
