The Triumph TR 7 RV Tiger was a twin, four-stroke Classic motorcycle produced by Triumph between 1973 and 1983. It could reach a top speed of 107 mph (172 km/h). Max torque was 36.88 ft/lbs (50.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 43.99 HP (32.8 KW) @ 6000 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 76.0mm bore x 82.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 744.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis
It came with a 4.10-19 front tire and a 4.10-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The TR 7 RV Tiger was fitted with a 4.89 Gallon (18.50 Liters) fuel tank.
1973 - 1983 Triumph TR 7 V Tiger 750
In 1973, the Triumph twins finally got five-speed transmissions a front disk brake. Five-speeds had been optional since 1971, but were now standard across the line. While the 649cc TR6 Tiger remained, a new punched-out version was introduced called the TR7 750 Tiger.
