The Triumph Tiger 1050 Special Edition was a 4-stroke liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder Sport touring motorcycle produced by Triumph in 2010. Max torque was 73.76 ft/lbs (100.0 Nm) @ 6250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 113.05 HP (84.3 KW) @ 9400 RPM.

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1050.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR 17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Twin 320mm floating discs,4 piston radial calipers in the front and a Single 255mm disc, 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm upside down forks with adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound damping. The wheelbase was 59.41 inches (1509 mm) long.
2010 Triumph Tiger 1050 Special Edition[edit | edit source]
The 2009 SE Triumph 1050 comes in Matte Graphite and Matte Black color schemes and is developed with the ABS version of the base model as the starting point. It brings adjustable sporty suspensions, radial Nissin calipers for flawless, powerful brakes, and the same exceptional riding position putting the operator in full control over the bike.
The SE comes with sidecases in matching color and handguards as standard, with tons of other touring accessories available optionally.
