It came with a 120 / 70-12in front tire and a 130/70-12in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 220 mm disc in the front and a 220 mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a single arm, dual-chamber hydraulic shock absorber with co-axial spring while the rear was equipped with a two dual-effect shock absorbers with adjustable preload. The wheelbase was 54.88 inches (1394 mm) long.

The 2013 MY Vespa GTV 300 i.e. sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 278cc, single cylinder Quasar engine paired to a continuous variable transmission, and produces 22 horsepower and 22 Nm of torque. As all the models from the GTV series, its design is based on its forefathers from the 50's and 60's, and the most defining feature is the headlight which has been mounted on the front mudguard. In addition, it comes with a front and rear luggage rack, as well as a dual seat and small windscreen, which improve its long haul capabilities.
