The Vespa S125 was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Vespa between 2008 and 2011. It could reach a top speed of 39 mph (62 km/h). Max torque was 7.08 ft/lbs (9.6 Nm) @ 7250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 10.06 HP (7.5 KW) @ 8250 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 62.5mm bore x 48.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 125.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the automatic twist and go.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-11 front tire and a 120/70-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a single arm with helical spring and dual effect hydraulic single shock absorber while the rear was equipped with a coil spring and dual effect single shock absorber. The 2010 MY Vespa S 125 is available for purchase only in Europe, and has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 125cc, single cylinder Leader engine mated to a continuous variable transmission, and boasts a gas mileage of 80 mpg. In addition, it comes with a dual seat, as well as a front disc brake, which add to the desirability among Vespa fans. It is suitable for those riders who want a little more grunt out of their daily commuter, without affecting the trademark Vespa styling.
