The Yamaha AS 3 was a twin, two-stroke standard produced by Yamaha between 1968 and 1972. It could reach a top speed of 79 mph (127 km/h). Max torque was 9.37 ft/lbs (12.7 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 15.69 HP (11.7 KW) @ 9800 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled twin, two-stroke. A 43.0mm bore x 43.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 125.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis
It came with a 2.50-18 front tire and a 2.75-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear.
