The Yamaha DT 125E was a Single cylinder, two stroke, air-cooled Enduro motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1979. Max torque was 9.59 ft/lbs (13.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM.

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 123.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.75-21 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Monocross. The wheelbase was 53.11 inches (1349 mm) long.

The DT 125E is a compact, light, dual-purpose motorcycle. Motocross type frame is rigid, light weight and narrow, enchanted by the center mount exhaust system, which has been routed out of the way, under the saddle.
