A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-ZR17 front tire and a 190/50-ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 320 mm in the front and a Single disc 245 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic upside forks while the rear was equipped with a Link-type swingarm. The wheelbase was 57.52 inches (1461 mm) long.
2006 - 2012 Yamaha FZ-1N[edit | edit source]
FZ-1N is the new model from Yamaha, sold from 2006. This bike has the same based engine and aluminum chassis as the R1 and FZ-1, this muscular sports biek is build to deliver brutal class leading performance in the mid-range.
