The Yamaha FZ-1N was a Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2006. Max torque was 78.19 ft/lbs (106.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 146.84 HP (109.5 KW) @ 11000 RPM.

A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-ZR17 front tire and a 190/50-ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 320 mm in the front and a Single disc 245 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic upside forks while the rear was equipped with a Link-type swingarm. The wheelbase was 57.52 inches (1461 mm) long.
