The Yamaha FZR 250R was a Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1990. Max torque was 187.35 ft/lbs (254.0 Nm) @ 11500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 45.06 HP (33.6 KW) @ 14500 RPM.

Engine

A 48.3mm bore x 48.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.

Chassis

It came with a 100/80-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 285 mm in the front and a Single disc 210 mm in the rear.
