The Yamaha TRICITY 125 was a Single cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC scooter produced by Yamaha between 2015 and 2018. Max torque was 8.85 ft/lbs (12.0 Nm) @ 7250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 11.94 HP (8.9 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine
A 50.8mm bore x 50.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 125.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a V-Belt Automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet sump.
Chassis
It came with a 90/80-14 front tire and a 110/90-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic single disc 220 mm in the front and a Hydraulic single disc 230 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Unit Swing. The wheelbase was 53.11 inches (1349 mm) long.
2015 Yamaha TRICITY 125
The 2014 MY Tricity is Yamaha's debut 3-wheel scooter, a new presence in the company's roster which was welcomed quite warmly. The leaning design allows riders to turn juts like on a two-wheeled vehicle, but when stopped, the Tricity will stand by itself, adding to the ease of use.
The scoot is light and nimble, with modern looks and is powered by an economical 125cc liquid-cooled engine for smooth rides. The Tricity is also supplied with UBS unified brakes, and automatic transmission.
