The Yamaha X-MAX 400 was a Single cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke scooter produced by Yamaha between 2013 and 2018. Max torque was 27.29 ft/lbs (37.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 32.99 HP (24.6 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled Single cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke. A 83.8mm bore x 83.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 395.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a V-Belt Automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet muli plate.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-15 front tire and a 150/70-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic dual disc 267 mm in the front and a Hydraulic single disc 267 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Unit Swing. The X-MAX 400 was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 61.69 inches (1567 mm) long.
