The Yamaha XSR700 was a twin, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2016 and 2019. Max torque was 50.16 ft/lbs (68.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 72.15 HP (53.8 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled inline twin, four-stroke. A 80.0mm bore x 68.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 689.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiple disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. hydraulic. abs. in the front and a single disc. hydraulic single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a single shock, adjustable preload. The XSR700 was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 55.31 inches (1405 mm) long.

2018 Yamaha XSR700[edit | edit source]

The XSR700 blends Yamaha’s world-class engineering with timeless style, creating a new type of machine for riders looking for an authentic and honest motorcycle that doesn’t sacrifice performance. Drawing influence from Yamaha’s classic “XS” series of motorcycles, the XSR oozes class, with exposed aluminum details, retro-influenced bodywork, stepped seat and custom lighting and instrumentation.
