The Yamaha XT1200Z SUPER TENERE was a Forward-inclined parallel 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valves Adventure motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2018. Max torque was 86.3 ft/lbs (117.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 111.98 HP (83.5 KW) @ 7250 RPM.

A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1199.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multiple disc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/80R19M/C 59V front tire and a 150/70R17M/C 69V rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic dual disc 310 mm wave discs in the front and a Hydraulic single disc 282 mm wave disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Upside-down telescopic fork 43 mm while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm, adjustable preload and rebound damping, (link suspension), Monoshock.
