The Yamaha XV125S Virago was a v2, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1997 and 2001. It could reach a top speed of 66 mph (107 km/h). Max torque was 6.93 ft/lbs (9.4 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 11.13 HP (8.3 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 41.0mm bore x 47.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 80/100-18 front tire and a 130/90-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic Forks while the rear was equipped with a Dual Shocks. The XV125S Virago was fitted with a 2.51 Gallon (9.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 306.44 pounds (139.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.86 inches (1495 mm) long.
