Slotting in the middle of the displacement charts in Star's line-up, the 2006 V-Star 1300 is a great choice for those in search of a cruiser with plenty of character and real estate for two, but with a more moderate approach to power and displacement. Far from being a slacker, this bike is only a more tamed version of the biggest-displacement beasts, and is fully-capable to keep up the pace with any other bikes in its class.

Slow, slender and properly cool, the bike looks as sharp as any other classic cruiser. The 1304cc v-twin gets liquid cooling for better performance in very hot weather, while the short stroke ensures a great tone for the chunky exhaust. Add ins cast wheels, beefy tires, a retro-looks modern-tech speedo and a vintage headlight with revised, modern cues and chrome in all the right places.

An 1.3-liter v-twin is considered a middleweight machine in the cruiser world. However, the 2008 MY V-Star 1300 does not come with mediocre performance and is one of the really popular bikes among those in search for a motorcycle which feels just right. Packing plenty of power for both fast city rides and for two-up vacations, the V-Star 1300 is still non-intimidating: its low seat offers a reassuring foothold, while the ample bars make steering effortless.

Classic by looks, modern by performance and feel, the 2008 MY V-Star 1300 also has plenty of chrome to show off.

Midsize Star brings modern classic styling along for a lighter, sportier, hot-rod-inspired ride. 80-cubic-inch (1304cc) liquid-cooled, fuel-injected V-twin produces excellent power across the board along with a highly stimulating exhaust note. Modern-classic design, including a flangeless gas tank and two-into-one exhaust, gives the V Star 1300 that distinctive Star look. Steel chassis gets 48 percent of the bike’s weight on the front tire, for quick, light handling and maneuverability. Authentic cruiser features such as belt drive and steel fenders open up the customization possibilities even further. The V Star 1300 achieves fuel economy up to an estimated 42 mpg with a fuel tank that holds 4.9 gallons of gas.

The impeccable Star craftsmanship is backed by luxurious chrome accents, jumbo brake and clutch levers, self-canceling clear-lens turn signals and plenty of real estate for both rider and passenger for a comfy ride in the city or across the state line.
