The Yamaha YZ450F 50th Anniversary was a Liquid-cooled, 5-valve, DOHC, 4-stroke w/titanium valves Enduro motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2006. Max torque was 39.09 ft/lbs (53.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM.

Engine

A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Multiplate wet clutch.

Chassis

It came with a 80/100-21 front tire and a 110/90-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 250mm floating disc in the front and a 245mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm Kayaba inverted telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Kayaba single monocross shock. The wheelbase was 58.9 inches (1496 mm) long.

Like all the other anniversary models in the generation, the 2005 YZ450F 50th Anniversary comes with a striking yellow livery with factory-like black and white accents.

Even though some might mistake it for a Suzuki in the heat of the dirt track battle, this machine is all Yamaha technology at its best. 2005 brings a new frame and swingarm, a thoroughly revised engine and a noticeable better performance in handling and power delivery.
