The Yamaha YZF R7 was a Liquid Cooled, Four Stroke, Transverse Four Cylinder, DOHC, 5 Valves Per Cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1999. Max torque was 72.28 ft/lbs (98.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 107.01 HP (79.8 KW) @ 11000 RPM.

A 71.9mm bore x 71.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 749.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6 Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, Multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Discs in the front and a Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Öhlins Inverted Telescopic Forks while the rear was equipped with a Öhlins Piggy-back. The wheelbase was 55.12 inches (1400 mm) long.
